Patrick Martin was born in 1951 in Pavillons-sous-Bois near Paris.
When he
was a child, he felt drawn towards the arts.
Then, he followed artistic studies
and received a strong multidisciplinary education at the "Ecole Superieure des Arts
Appliques et des Metiers d'Arts".
In 1973 he
received a diploma with high honors.
He began his professional life as a textile creating designer.
Since 1979, he has continued with a double artistic career : Art teacher (drawing,
painting, watercolours, pastel, volumes,...) and pastel painter.
Patrick took
part in numerous exhibitions in Paris and in Province, gaining many awards.
