From an idea, an emotion, an inspiration or a desire, a choice of
objects is made and the stage is set. The composition is studied
carefuly, noting the location of and relationship between the objects,
and the rhythm of the elements. The light is then carefully considered
and regulated. This stage of the work represents about 50% of the
future pastel.
